Aloisia Wagner
Misses Aloisia Wagner (born, 1906/1907 - ????), also known as "Rosa Violetta," and performed professionally as "Violetta" was born in Hemelingen, Germany without arms or legs. When Wagner was 15 years old, she started performing in sideshows. She came to the United states in 1924 when she was 17 years old. She worked with Ringling Brothers and Dreamland Circus Sideshow. She moved around by hopping. Although she had no limbs, she was able to comb her own hair, dress herself, thread a needle, and even sew.
